1 - They met through mutual friends

2 - When John asked for Yinet's phone number, he did not write it down, and said he would remember it the next day...to impress her. It worked!

3 - John proposed on a horse ride (Yinet's favorite animal). They got off the horse by a lake, where he bent the knee, and their families appeared from behind the trees. (It was a surprise)

4 - By August of 2024, they will have been together 4 years and 3 months.
